That's quite a lot for the first 30 years. We'll see what the next 30 and beyond have in store. Thanks to all the family and friends who helped put this together. And thanks to Brady for being such a great guy worthy of celebration. He loves good things in life. Everything he is about-from his love of cooking to his love of learning-is really all about people, coming to enjoy and understand people better. He really works hard to take care of the people in his life, whether they're students, clients, friends, family, or me. So it's nice to have a day once in a while to bring so many people he cares about together and celebrate him. Here's wishing a very happy birthday and year to come to one Brady "Stinklebert" Wiggins. I love you!
I am very sorry that I missed the party, but I am glad to have witnessed quite a few of the fortune cookie events. Happy Birthday, Brady.

ReplyDeleteI know this is very random--sometimes I click over from my sister's site. But, I thought I should mention that I was in a BYU production of the Brothers Karamazov as well. The year was 2003 (winter semester). Were we in the same class by chance? I don't remember too many of the people in that class, but I do remember that whoever played the Grand Inquisitor was quite good. I believe I played Rakitin, and I had to have been laughably bad.
Wow, what a small BYU world. It looks like you have a generous memory in terms of my acting--I mostly just remember having to ask for a line mid-performance. I used to occasionally run into the girl who played the devil and we'd have this awkward moment where it was like "we know each other," "but we don't really know each other," "but there was this weekend where I nightly threw a glass of water at you and shouted in anguish as you tormented me" "but let's just go with we don't really know each other" . . . you know that sort of thing.
