A Clean Start

Ellie has finally learned to like bath time. She stays calm even after her bath when we are getting her dried, lotioned, and dressed. A big part of that is because Brady thinks it's really funny to give her little drops of water from the filter on the sink. She loves it and starts "rooting" for it as soon as she's wrapped up in her towel.

She's pretty pleased with herself. This is the happy tongue-clicking she does.

So at least one of us got a bath and change of clothes for the new year. Since she's the only one really ready for the new year, she's the only one really setting any resolutions. Top of the list: growing some hair.

Hope everyone is having a great new year!

  1. I think her next resolution should be to get her parents to stop washing her with Western Family antibacterial dish soap as we see from the bottom clip.

  2. Yeah, use Tide with bleach. It gets the stains out.

She is sure cute, and don't worry. The first ones still turn out normal even with all the games that the dads play with them.

  3. I have the cutest grand-baby(s) in the whole world! I also have a son with a really nice hand

  4. Wendy--we've found it's really efficient to just wash the baby and the dishes at the same time. Saves water . . . ;)

Mike--we cut the part where Brady kept going just cause it was so cute and she spit up. We have to ration her water drops now.

    Anita--I couldn't agree more!
